Ten years in, Eclectic Goods is still just the things we love.

Lately we’ve been asking a harder question about everything we carry: would we put this in our own home? If the answer is no, it doesn’t stay. No matter how beautiful it is.

Design isn’t about buying more. It’s about choosing better.

Something new is coming next week. We can’t wait to show you.

This is what market Market week looks like in a nutshell. Thousands of pieces, one question the whole time: would we actually live with this?

We touched everything. Sat in everything. Pictured the dinners, the mornings, the real life around each piece. Andy quality-tested a banquette like it was his job (because it is 😬 ).

Most of it stayed behind. That’s the point.

Everything in the shop earned its place, or it wouldn’t be here. Design isn’t about buying more. It’s about choosing better.

For over 10 years, Eclectic Goods has been a place for beautiful things.

But somewhere along the way, we realized beautiful isn’t enough.

So now, before anything earns a spot in our collection, it has to answer one quiet question: would this have a place in our own home, and does it support the way we live?

If the answer is no, we let it go. No matter how pretty it is. Because design isn’t about buying more. It’s about choosing better.

What’s left is a smaller, more personal edit. Pieces for coming home. For sharing a meal. For slow mornings. And one-of-one finds we simply couldn’t leave behind.

This is Eclectic Goods. Built around a curated life, not a curated shelf.
