Meet Lil Hulk. 🐢 He got a full mansion build — variegated pothos canopy for shade, stone platforms positioned right under the basking lamp and the UVB, and a flowing water feature to keep the temperature comfortable. Every element placed around how he moves and what he needs. Reptile habitats don't have to look like a box of rocks. This one looks like somewhere worth living.

Longview and our Neighbors — we're doing something new.
Our first ever Terrarium Workshop is launching at The 504 Vintage Marketplace and we're letting you shape it. Vote on the date and the theme — Patriotic, Woodland, Coastal, Dino, or Halloween. Whatever wins is what we build.
Here's what happens: you show up, grab a glass of wine and then the magic begins. I walk you through building your own little world from scratch. Glass Container, soil, moss, plants, stones, decor, tools — all provided. About an hour. You leave with a living terrarium you made yourself — not something that sits pretty for two weeks and dies. These are built to last for years.

Sharm's Green Thumb is part of ArtWalk Longview for the first time.
When: this Thursday, June 4 from 5–8pm! 🌿 You'll find us at The Atrium, 106 W. Methvin St. — on the sidewalk, stop #13 on the map.
ArtWalk is free to attend — live music, 50+ artists and vendors, all in downtown Longview. Come say hello, see the terrariums in person, and enjoy the evening. Free parking available nearby.

Did you know a closed terrarium can go months — sometimes years — without a single drop of water added?
It runs on its own water cycle. Moisture evaporates, hits the glass, condenses, and waters the roots. Over and over.
I also keep springtails in mine — tiny organisms that eat mold and keep the ecosystem balanced. Completely natural, completely invisible to the naked eye.
