It's Finished Object Friday! I finished that Coin Flip Hat by Shanalines Designs in leftover bits of handspun. The design is flexible enough to make it easy to use up odds and ends. I weighed my yarn before and after the first panel, and knew I wouldn't have enough of the blue and yellow alone on the second panel, but I had more than 2/3 so I striped it with the gray fleece that I also used for the finishing details.

Stuff! We have both new books (pictured below) and restocks (60 Quick Baby Gifts, Brochet), and new stickers and restocks (so very many restocks). Or just come in and see us at Open Stitching Group tonight!

It's Work-in-Progress Wednesday! I'm working on a Coin Flip Hat by Shanlines Designs. It's a great way to play with little bits of different fi*****ng weight yarns. I'm using leftover bits of handspun for this one.

It's Finished Object Friday! Last week, Spinzilla came back. It's all about spinning yardage, and I did this year only on spindles. So the only thing I've finished this week is a pile of handspun samples, mostly CVM fleece with various add-ins.

It's Finished Object Friday! I finished another brioche cowl, basically using my pattern from learn to knit 2 color brioche with a different gauge/stitch count and some stash yarn.
