Message the page with your family name and the year you’d like, or let us know if you prefer no year. Natural wood and bamboo vary in grain, color, and density. Engraving may appear lighter or darker in different areas and may not be completely uniform; these natural variations make each piece unique.

DESIGN OPTIONS & CUSTOMIZATION
The tree design shown is an example. Choose a design meaningful to your family, or upload or send your preferred artwork through platform messages for review. Simple design substitutions and minor personalization are included in the listed price when the artwork is suitable for engraving without substantial preparation. I made this ‘Man’s Best Friend’ slate coaster from a favorite photo of my dog who passed away—a small keepsake of a memory I’ll always treasure. His paw on the remote is one of my favorite details.

🔥 Dialing It In! 🔥

A little behind-the-scenes look at the process. I’ve been testing different settings, speeds, power levels, and image adjustments to get the best detail possible on slate.

Every design—and even every piece of natural slate—engraves a little differently, so there’s definitely some trial and error involved. Each test gets me closer to that crisp, detailed finish I’m looking for.

Here’s one of my newest designs in progress. I’m really liking the detail that’s starting to come through!
