Shake and Shimmy in Fringe, 2026’s Standout Embellishment
Fringe rippled, swung, and brought garments to life on the Spring 2026 runways at Balmain, Bottega Veneta, Rick Owens, and beyond, signaling a clear return to movement-driven design. Reimagined in sleek, modern forms, fringe has shed its purely vintage associations and emerged as a dynamic embellishment defined by subtle flair. We are seeing interiors and fashion move away from bold prints. Following suit, statement trims, fringe, piping, and ruffles are taking center stage in 2026, bringing depth and personality to upholstery and accessories through craftsmanship rather than textile pattern.
Our Pavilion Chair has long been a pillar of ROWEAM’s New Vintage ethos. With its high-backed winged silhouette, it offers a distinctly European sensibility, airy, architectural, and timeless. Hand-pulled upholstery sculpts the interior back, enhancing both form and lumbar support while preserving the chair’s refined structure.
Shown here in our floral, ochre and Gingham fabric and also available COM, the textile selected for these pieces is defined by its depth, richness, and quiet sophistication. Woven using time-honored European traditions and crafted entirely from natural cotton fibers, it was hand-selected by Blair Moore for its exceptional softness paired with remarkable durability, making it equally suited for statement upholstery and everyday living. Designed to endure and age beautifully, the fabric’s integrity is elevated further by our fringe collection, which introduces a soft femininity and tailored detail that completes the piece.
The ROWEAM Method is a considered journey from hand sketch to heirloom, where designers, craftsmen, and makers collaborate using time-honored techniques to create pieces defined by character, longevity, and quiet distinction. Each custom piece is made to order and thoughtfully stewarded from workshop to home.
