Center For Lost Objects is hiring a part-time studio helper in St. Paul.
We’re looking for a capable, curious person who likes working with their hands, solving problems, and helping keep a creative workspace running smoothly. You’re the kind of person who walks into a room and immediately notices what needs attention. Maybe you straighten something while you’re waiting. Maybe you see a problem before someone has to point it out. Maybe you genuinely enjoy creating order out of chaos, figuring things out as you go, and helping make other people’s work easier. You don’t need to be told what to do every minute, but you’re also comfortable asking questions and working collaboratively.
The work will vary—helping customers with their purchases, organizing, packing, moving things, running errands, and pitching in wherever needed. We’re a small business, so flexibility, dependability, and initiative matter more than fitting a perfect job description.
About you:
• Organized, observant, and dependable
• Comfortable working independently
• A “hands never empty” attitude
• Good at figuring things out
• Able to lift and move boxes and materials - this is a very active position
• Licensed driver with reliable transportation
• Interested in art, objects, design, making, collections, or creative work
•
The basics: approximately 10-16 hours per week, in person, with flexible weekday scheduling.
No specific background is required. If you’re thoughtful, capable, and interested in being part of a small, evolving creative business, we’d love to hear from you.
To apply: Send us a brief introduction, your availability, and anything you’d like us to know about your experience or interests.
