FABRIC OF THE WEEK - This is from Carole Fabrics called Dare Me shown here in jewel. It is a polyester/cotton blend, 52" wide with a 19 3/8" repeat. This stylized embroidered floral has shades blue with burgundy and gold. Wow! Such embroidered detail!!

Wow! I love this whole concept!
Rangmanch House in Solapur, India, is organized around an open-to-sky courtyard that brings light, ventilation and family life into the center of the home.
Designed by PMA madhushala, the 185 m² residence combines brick arches, circular openings and stepped spaces shaped by the family’s interest in classical music.

FABRIC OF THE WEEK - This is from Carole Fabrics called One Night shown here in coral. It is cotton/polyester blend, 50" wide with an 18 1/2" repeat. This allover embroidered floral pattern is in shades of coral all on a tan background. Sweet and exotic!

How cool!
This giant beagle in Idaho was once a working hotel.

Known as Sweet W***y, the 30-foot-tall (9.1 m) structure opened as the Dog Bark Park Inn in Cottonwood in 2003. Guests slept inside the dog’s body, with additional sleeping space located inside its head.

The one-room bed-and-breakfast stopped accepting overnight guests in 2024 after its artist-owners retired, but the giant beagle still stands as one of America’s most unusual roadside landmarks.

FABRIC OF THE WEEK - This is from Carole Fabrics called Over The Wall shown here in marble. It is a polyester/cotton blend, 54" wide with a 4 1/2" repeat. This embroidered vertical geometric pattern is gold and silver on an off-white background. Sing it with me: "silver and gold, silver and gold".

A simple installation done recently. When this client added an addition on to their home, they wanted Vintage Interiors to do the blinds and shades as I did work for them before. We installed a few fauxwood blinds and a couple blackout cellular shades. Happy clients!

Wow!
Designed by BIG in Billund, Denmark, LEGO House stacks 21 white volumes like oversized bricks and turns their roofs into public terraces and playgrounds. Even this stepped seating was designed like enlarged pixels, making the architecture itself part of the play.
