Coffee from Cafe Réveille, treats from Jane, and plenty to talk about. Thank you to EJA Lighting Design for joining us at the Gary Hutton Design studio for a thoughtful conversation about lighting, art, and design history.

We also discussed the importance of building the team at the beginning, bringing together the individual specialties of the lighting design firm, architect’s office, contractor, and interior design studio. Each contributes essential knowledge, with everyone working together from the project’s inception through final installation and occupancy.

Beautiful spaces grow out of shared knowledge, careful coordination, and strong relationships. A pleasure to spend time with the people who help bring them to life.

A moment to reflect, no pun intended, and to say thank you.

Our sincere thanks to HEWN for featuring Gary Hutton Furniture’s A11 Table in the 2026 San Francisco Fall Show catalogue.

With its intersecting planes and polished stainless steel, the A11 brings Gary’s sculptural approach to furniture into sharp focus. A fitting expression of this year’s “Métallique Chic” theme, it explores the possibilities of light, reflection, and form.

We’re grateful to the HEWN team for their continued partnership and for championing Gary’s work within the Northern California design community.

Congratulations to Catharine Clark Gallery on 35 extraordinary years and its well deserved recognition as a San Francisco Legacy Business!

What a wonderful evening celebrating art, community, and the friendships that make San Francisco so special. So many dear friends, familiar faces, and shared memories spanning so many years. It was a beautiful reminder of how art brings us together and how these relationships enrich our lives over time.

Thank you for including me in such a meaningful celebration. Here’s to 35 remarkable years and many more to come!

The projects are part of the story. So are the people who make them possible.

Thank you to Voyage Voyage for inviting me to reflect on my creative life, from painting and filmmaking to interior design, galleries, art exhibitions and community projects.

We talked about building ISFAD Studio, my work with Gary Hutton Design, navigating difficult chapters, and why relationships remain at the center of everything I do.

I’m grateful to the clients, artists, craftspeople, collaborators, and friends who have been part of this journey. There is still so much I hope to create.
