I love finding inspiration just as much as anyone, but my favorite spaces are the ones that actually reflect the people living in them.

Your style. Your routines. The way your family uses a space. The things you love.

THAT’S what I want to design around.

Because at the end of the day, your home shouldn’t feel like everyone else’s Pinterest board.

It should feel like you.

Listen, I’m all for a good DIY project. But when it comes to remodeling your home, there are a few things I’d rather you not learn the hard way.

Between layouts, finishes, measurements, materials, and about a hundred decisions you didn’t even know you’d have to make, there’s a lot more to a remodel than picking out pretty tile.

A little behind the scenes of what my days actually look like!

One of my favorite parts of the design process is getting to see everything we’ve planned start coming together in real life.

And yes, that means stopping by job sites, checking on progress, looking at all the little details, and probably noticing something no one else would. 😂

Because a beautiful finished space doesn’t just happen. It’s all those decisions, conversations, and details along the way that make the difference.

Sometimes the answer isn’t adding another piece.

Sometimes it’s editing.

Giving something more breathing room. Moving something unexpected. Removing the thing that’s competing with everything else. Letting one really good piece have its moment.

More doesn’t automatically make a space feel finished.

Sometimes knowing what not to add is the part that changes everything.

Restraint can be kinda chic too.

Please never preface a question with “this might be stupid” around me. 😂

Design comes with approximately 847 decisions, a whole vocabulary you probably never asked to learn, and plenty of moments where you’re going to wonder, wait… why are we doing it this way?

Ask me.

Part of my job is making sure you understand the why behind the decisions we’re making, not expecting you to suddenly become an interior designer overnight.
