Designing the office for Meals on Wheels America San Diego was very meaningful to us. We hope it is the base for serving the community for many years to come.

DESIGN WITH PURPOSE: When ID Studios Inc. set out to design a new headquarters for Meals on Wheels San Diego County, the goal was to create a space that reflected the nonprofit’s mission of care, dignity and human connection while meeting the demands of a high-volume operation.

In the August Designer Forum, Rich Güereña of ID Studios explores how polished concrete, carpet tile, resilient flooring and other materials help balance durability, acoustics, comfort and sustainability throughout the 23,000-square-foot facility.
