If you are new to our account you may not know that Megan Holmes ( ) owns the Needlepoint Clubhouse as well as two wholesale canvas lines: The Gingham Stitchery and Susan Roberts Needlepoint. Like many businesses in our industry we’ve had to make some structural changes due to the crazy demand and lag times in canvas reproduction. As of June 1 our family of brands will be working with a consultant for inventory management and forecasting. The first priority is to maximize opportunity in the Gingham Stitchery.
As many of you know Lauren DeVous ( ) was tasked with and worked to grow the Gingham Stitchery over the past several years. She’s done an amazing job-almost too good as our demand has grown exponentially.
But as our local, and her national students know, Lauren’s needlepoint talents far exceed spreadsheets and order fulfillment. While Lauren will continue to share her talents with shops around the country, she has also decided to stay on with the clubhouse two mornings per week kitting canvases and teaching private lessons as her schedule allows. You can contact us here at the shop or her directly to set up lessons as her schedule allows. We’re excited to continue to have her needlepoint knowledge and expertise focused on our retail customers.
Her new role begins on June 8!
