See this table?!?!? Shame on you all. You greedy lot! You've bought 1,300 bars of Craig County Soap this season. We've had to produce almost that much in just the last 3 weeks to keep up with your filthy hands & oily faces through the holiday season. Is there no end to your insatiable lust for creamy, cleansing suds, exotic fragrances, & conditioning lather at affordable prices for everyday people?

Seriously, we're working hard to keep up with a pretty underestimated demand. We can't thank you enough for your support. Next weekend you'll see Honeysuckle, Leyte, Teakwood, & Unscented Simple Soap back in stock.

Come out today to Rogers County Farmers Market & Grove Farmers Market for plenty of Garden Hands & Caravan Green & a more limited supply of Simple Soap fragrances. This is also the last bit of Cucurbita Cool for this season, so sn**ch it up while you can.

Today is also a sort of young entrepreneur day at Rogers County Farmers' Market in Claremore so make sure & stop by some very pro setups & show these lads & ladies how much Northeast Oklahoma loves a bright-eyed small business.

Also EdoubleE Farms LLC, Wilson Family Farms, & Wings and a Prairie Family Farm are here today. If you've never had a proper artisan sourdough, local chicken, or pork, you're missing out.

Mrs. & Little Miss JW are out of town to see family this weekend, so it's just me & boyo today. We are set up at Rogers County Farmers Market with a dwindling supply of Craig County Soap. Our remaining supply of Cucurbita Cool is with us.

More Simple Soap & Caravan Green will be back in stock very soon. We are working feverishly to get everything back in stock & remain stocked for Oktoberfest of Vinita, OK and the holiday markets. Sales right now are squarely double what they were at the end of last year. Our min/max numbers will be larger next year. We are overwhelmed, stupidly flattered, & so grateful for the support & enthusiasm we've received this year.

Come out to market today for your produce, eggs, honey, & of course handmade lye soap formulated, crafted, & priced for everday use by everybody.

We're right next to Wings and a Prairie Family Farm, so make sure to pick up some incredibly made sourdough. They've got plain, jalapeño cheddar, a very palatable not too sweet brown sugar & cinnamon, sandwich loaves, and some others as well as some great sweets. This is a great way to treat yourself without feeling like you dropped a lot of dough...

Good morning, Northeast Oklahoma! Wow, it is really lovely for the first day of August. Cool with a nice breeze. Get out while it stays that way. Rogers County Farmers Market is right on the highway through Claremore and very accessible. Grove Farmers Market is in Grove's very walkable downtown with lots of other nice places to shop and eat while you're out.

We are set up at both of these places today. We've got 3 new Craig County Simple Soap fragrances and a fresh stock of Cucurbita Cool.

Both of these markets are also good places to find fresh produce, preserves, fresh baked sourdough, salsa, local honey, farm fresh eggs, and other awesome natural food without a bunch of weird artificial crap in it.

Right, then! Here we go. We're trialing three new fragrances for the ladies. Victorian, Empress, and Bohemé. All florals; a classic, a sweet, and an exotic. We'll have 8 of each of for sale this weekend. If they're well- received, we're going with them.

We've also got Cucurbita Cool back in stock just in time for the hottest, grimiest part of summer. For those of you that haven't been asking every single weekend when it will be back in stock, Cucurbita Cool is a refreshing shower bar. It contains a stout dose of peppermint & eucalyptus essential oils. Between the cooling sensation & the smell, you're coming out of the shower feeling way better than the exhausted grumpy, sweaty beast that went in. This is the Klondike Bar of the soap world. We've got 40 bars for sale. This is a seasonal bar, so stock up while you can. We'll make way more next year- we promise.

We're looking forward to getting out and seeing everyone this weekend. Take care until then.

Remember that tumor they removed from my 3 year old daughter's lung last month?

Turns out it is an ultra rare and aggressive cancer.

It grew additionally to the size of a lemon in 41 days.

She's going to be starting chemo and radiation next week.

It's going to be a hard next couple of years.

She's probably going to be admitted to St Jude's in Memphis quite often.

We also have a four-month-old son so that's another part of the equation.

I would like to spend as much time as possible with my family because frankly we don't know much time we have with her.

Best-case scenario, we have nine months of intense chemo and radiation in front of us.

That's assuming it hasn't spread to her brain, which this cancer likes to do.

And that's in addition to her already having cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease.

All the generous donors behind St Jude's means they cover almost all the medical and travel costs but it's not an income replacement.

I have to keep working since there's no foreseeable end date.

So going forward, I'll try to keep my schedule going, but I'll have to take it day by day.

If you need spoons sharpened, please reach out.

I'll try to stay consistent at the Tulsa Farmers Market and with mobile appointments as best I can.

I just ask for your patience as I may be forced to reschedule, and I won't be able to respond some days.

There is good news, though.

All things work together for good for those who love God.

Somehow this will become a blessing.

Every little thing about my daughter has been a blessing, even if I don't notice it in the moment.

I've learned every moment of a child's life is a precious gift from God,

Every minute we have with our daughter is a blessing.

The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

Blessed be the name of the Lord.

Whew! We are in an unprecedented soap production cycle to keep up with demand. You crazy cats have gone through just a hair shy of 500 bars of Craig County Soap this season. Next weekend will put us well over that. Thank you all so much for your business.

As someone who has worked in the role of a manufacturing engineer, I knew this season would be interesting as far as getting our min/max on point. Demand ended up being more than I counted on. It's a good problem to have, I suppose, but please bear with us. Garden Hands cures in 2 weeks. Everything else is hard & safe to use after 6 weeks except Castile, which takes a minimum of 6 months. If we're out of stock of something you need, just know that we have it poured & it needs time to mellow out so it doesn't irritate your skin & to harden enough to last you about a month.

Caravan Black & Moschata Glow will be back on the table for your pretty faces this next weekend with tweeks to the formulae that we are pleased with. We will also have a new Garden Hands fragrance called Loam. You barefoot gardening perverts (and probably nobody else) will really like this one.

Next month will see Cucurbita Cool back in stock to get you through the end of high summer in Oklahoma. We'll start the season with way more bars next year. We will also trial 3 new Simple Soap fragrances to replace Gardenia, which was a great fragrance but had a really fussy chemistry & just caused us too many scrapped batches. Be on the lookout for Victorian, Empress, & Boheme.

We're also busy making Castile. We intend to make between 150 & 200 bars for sale near the start of 2027. If you need a castile soap in the meantime, drop a comment & we'll try to point you to an adequate product.

We're looking at probably 10 more weeks of Oklahoma heat & then our absolute favourite season starts settling in. As always, keep your soap dry between uses to maximize how long it lasts. One bar should last one person about one month. See you at market!
