While trying to figure out our new Google listing for the new store location, I ran across this article about our Galveston store. I never knew this article existed before now, but I loved seeing it!
We dont yet have the same selection in our new location but its encouragement to keep working.

Houston has an eclectic mix of shops for everything under the sun, but our antique stores are something different. We made a guide of some of our favorites so you can start your maximalist journey this 2022.

Figured we had not posted in a while and we keep getting The Question: "Are yall open?"
Unfortunately the answer is: Not YET.
Between my regular job, and some ridiculously painful knee swelling, and Steven 'breaking' his back working on the other side of the building, it has not been easy to get everything arranged and unpacked. Also some of our good stuff is stuck in storage that is hard to get out with the sandy soil and all the rain we've been getting.

We have still been making progress. I thought I'd include some pictures of Steven's progress since its more dramatic than mine.

Well, we are progressing but it is taking longer to unpack and organize the store than expected. So, we are not open yet but here are a few pics of our progress. Its a mess of shelves and totes right now.

So last week we were waiting for paint to come in to complete the last item on this side of the store (The old pipe running across the ceiling). It did come in and Steven painted it. We are now trying to bring in all our store fixtures and figuring out where they fit the best in our new space. Its more challenging than it sounds. Now its a mess of shelving and totes as we try to find all the right peices to assemble our store back together in a new configuration. Getting closer to opening....
