Our first class of the year was a great success!

A regular client brought her son along, we welcomed some new faces, and I even had a surprise visit from my cousin all the way from the UK. She booked the class as a birthday gift for her friend, and the friend’s “daughter” joined in too — it turned into the most wonderful afternoon.

Everyone’s pieces fired perfectly (no kiln casualties this time! 😄), and the studio was filled with lots of chatter, creativity, and some delicious snacks.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made it such a special session.

Our next class will be on 21 March — I can’t wait to do it all again!

In December, we celebrated Pam’s birthday with a lovely afternoon spent alongside her nearest and dearest.

Unfortunately, due to an unexpected kiln controller malfunction, her beautiful platter was damaged during firing, and another piece fused to the kiln shelf.

While pottery always carries an element of risk, these moments are deeply disappointing—especially when a creator’s hard work and vision are affected. My heart truly goes out to Pam and Andrew.

I will always do my utmost to make things right, and I am happy to offer another session at no charge.

Our 1st session for the year will be in February. Flyer to follow soon.

Such a treat having some of my regulars at the final pottery session of the year. We wrapped things up with a relaxed afternoon of chatting, catching up and enjoying delicious cake.
