Today my first solo art exhibition, It’s Alright, opens at The Regency Town House in Hove.
If you’re in Brighton or Hove over the next five days, I would absolutely love you to pop in and say hello!
This time last year, I wasn’t even painting. I was creating flowers for someone else’s exhibition at this very venue, dreaming that perhaps one day I might exhibit my own work somewhere.
And here we are, a year later!
It just goes to show that when you’re on the right path, sometimes things unfold in the best way possible.
I’m 55 (well, 56 next week!) and I never in a million years imagined this could happen to me.
And today I’ll be arranging flowers for my very own exhibition, which feels like the most wonderful merging of my two favourite things in the world — flowers and art (apart from my loved ones, obviously!).
