Keepsakes by Made from Memories Keepsake memory bears, blankets, cushions and more, made out of outgrown baby clothes OR a loved ones items that have died.

Wedding dresses, uniforms, dog blankets and more can be used to make unique handmade keepsakes. I have recently become a mother to my beautiful daughter Hollie and like all parents i can relate to how special,overwhelming and magical it is to make a life and watch them grow. I decided to make something that would remind me on a daily basis of all those special memories. My memory bears have had su

ch positive feedback that i decided to offer my skills and services to other parents who would also like to own something truly unique rather than the usual generic items we all end up buying. I come from a design background studying Fashion Marketing at University and worked in the Fashion industry for many years. I therefore have a good knowledge regarding design,sewing and crafts after using patterns and manipulating fabric to make beautiful items. Combining my experience and love for designing i started 'made from memories'.

🧸So I can now reveal ‘Miss Lynda Bear’….

These large button bears were requested by Kirsty after losing her mum. All of these items were well loved and bring back a lot of memories. The vibrant prints sum up Lynda’s personality and a lady who appreciated comfort over style. I incorporated as much detail as possible including zip detailing, pockets and making them similar but unique at the same time. I think they came together beautifully and each bear has its own personality.

🧵 🪡 Another double order completed, which means I have a ‘Show & Tell’ for you all. These large button bears are made using items belonging to a loved one who sadly isn’t here anymore. So a wonderful reminder of those memories that were formed can now proudly sit on display. 🧸

Hope you’re all surviving this heat! ☀️. Another order is making its way home 📦 which means I have a ‘show & tell’ for you all, so you can have a sneaky peek before I can show the full pictures. 📚Another school uniform bear to remember all of a little girls memories at primary school 💜.

So I can now reveal ‘Mr John Bear’….

🧸This handsome large button bear was requested by Elaine in memory of John. She sent me a lovely yellow V neck jumper and a polo shirt that I incorporated all the detailing including the collar and jumper neckline. She said John’s favorite colour was yellow 💛 and his colour of choice when deciding what to wear.

I hope that the memory’s you have of him wearing these clothes and having something on display as a daily reminder of him, can help with this tragic loss.

👶🏼🍼More baby clothes than you can store….

As a mummy myself I know what it’s like. Can’t bare to throw them out and too busy to sell. All those memories of your little one growing up stored in the drawer, loft, under the bed!

So I can now reveal ‘Miss Isla Bear’….

💌 Lisa was gifted a voucher from Karen, a returning customer who has had many keepsakes made. Unfortunately it was just prior to my long maternity leave that lasted longer than I expected. So she has patiently waited a long time.

She sent me the most beautiful bunny themed baby clothes to make her out of, that Isla wore as a baby. She also asked if I could put bunny ears on the bear as they refer to Isla as their ‘little bunny’. 🐰 This was not a problem at all. I think you can agree she looks beautiful 🩷
