It’s holiday time and we have many youngsters visiting to create fused glass art. We’ve had a jolly day with Inclusive Orkney. Lots of chat, glass and feeding the chickens afterwards.🐔🐔🐔🐔🪿🪿🦆🦆
It’s been so warm and it was good to get the children out and about after working so hard! Well done all of you! 👏👏👏👏

New Workshops at Orkney Glass Hut! 👀👀👀
I’m planning several workshops for the Christmas season to create your very own Snowflakes from glass! (October - December).
Check out the photos below for some inspiration that will be possible on the day!

I’ll help you by demonstration and step by step instructions to create one large snowflake (20cm in diameter) and then you‘ll have the opportunity to make another two 10cm snowflakes.
Watch out for the first dates that are being arranged just now starting at the middle of October. Prices will be £45 - £50 for these special workshops (Depending on the glass used).

There will be Christmas Decoration workshops too when you can make tree decorations, gifts and fun pieces! Normally £40. Great for families!
Bite Sized workshops to be organised for the school holidays too. £35.

What a lovely morning creating glass art with Inclusive Orkney. The children were lively and not only made their pieces but played in the garden together and met Gary our goose, Daphne the duck and fed the chickens. 🐔🐔🪿🪿🦆🦆🦆well done everyone!

We had a lovely hen party celebration yesterday at Orkney Glass Hut! We hope the bride had a wonderful day of surprises from her friends and work mates. There was lots of fizz and coffee served and lots of beautiful art created. Well done everyone!

Thank you to Nicky Jacques from Rousay, Egilsay and Wyre Development Trust (REWDT) for her hard work in organising a fused glass workshop experience for local residents with Orkney Glass Hut yesterday.
Everyone created some gorgeous art pieces and enjoyed tea, coffee, home bakes and a blether!
