It’s all about the Beads this Christmas here at The Creative Club but which session would you choose?….

1) The Christmas Sparkle Bead Experience or…

2) Bad Words, Beads and Baubles

With both Workshops you can expect chilled vibes in lovely venues, lots of sparkle, some time for yourself to escape the Christmas madness, a drink of your choice included in the ticket price and lots of nattering round the table…. Oh and cake! 🍰

Come along with friends for that pre- Christmas meet up, or come on your own, you’ll be made to feel very welcome!

We all feel stuck sometimes but taking a breath and starting with a piece of fabric that you like the colour of and a few stitches and you’ll soon be on your way again!

It’s that time and it’s all very exciting!!

🎄🎅🏻 Christmas Workshops are on their way!!

Think lots of preloved and vintage materials, lots of sparkle, warming drinks, cake and biscuits and a cheeky Prosecco or two!

If you’re looking for a friendly, cozy, creative day or evening out, a few hours of time just for you, either on your own or as your pre Christmas meet up with friends, I’ve got you covered!

With craft club sessions starting at £5 pp, there’s something to suit everyone’s budget.

And when I say you don’t have to have any experience to come along, I really mean it!

If you’d love to try a craft session but you’ve never made anything since school, that’s absolutely fine!

I’ve started my planning for the New Year as I’ve got so many ideas going round in my head!

I’d love to run a couple towards the middle/end of Jan to help lift us all out of the gloom and to have something to look forward to.

❤️❤️❤️ Plus it’s prime time for making gorgeous things for Valentine’s/Galentines and we can’t miss out on that can we?!!

If I include everything I want to such as venue costs, homemade cake, drinks and materials, the cost of the events would be between £40-50 pp… do you think that’s too much for January after the expense of Christmas?

I really do need your feedback and so could you help me out and let me know your thoughts in the comments please?

Running a Maker’s Market is always a gamble.
Will anyone show up, will the market traders make any sales, will it just flop?

My daughter Molly and her wife Amelia had decided to run their first Maker’s Market at yesterday.

It’s taken weeks of planning as you can imagine, the stall holders were carefully curated and it was advertised well on socials….

But then, on the day all you can do is wait and see if anyone shows up.

Well they did!

They kept coming, all through the day! The atmosphere was lovely! There was some wonderful stall holders, people made Fabric Ghosts with me and the whole thing was a resounding success!

You could really feel the power of the community thats been created at it’s truly a very special place.

And the best bit for me was hearing from all around me just how lovely the girls are and what a great job they’d done!

I’m one very proud Mum today!
Here’s to the next market girls!

My Creative Escape day at is only 3 weeks away and I’m so looking forward to spending the day with you in this beautiful place!

Imagine a whole day of slow crafting, hot drinks, homemade biscuits, mince pies and cakes and a cheeky drink (or two.)

All that time, just for yourself... bliss!

Here’s how the day will look:
10am- Arrive & settle in.
Tea, coffee, homemade biscuits and mince pies and a chance to meet your fellow creatives!
10.30-12.30 - Slow Crafting
Time to create something lovely with guidance from me.
12.30-1.30 - Lunch and chats.
Bring your own packed lunch with you. Then enjoy a drink of your choice from Prosecco, w**e, b**r, c***r or non- alcoholic options.
1.30-5pm -Bead Embroidery Experience.
An afternoon of rummaging through beautiful vintage beads and jewellery to create your own mini work of art.
Unlimited brews and a piece of cake mid afternoon.
4.45pm- Time to pack away the beads and take photos of your gorgeous work!

Sounds lovely doesn’t it?!
