Nickie enjoyed capturing this early morning scene of Norwich Market in all its glory, with the sunlight just starting to hit the colourful, iconic rooftops!

On show Day and Night until this Saturday 12th July!

From the radiant brightness of day, full of vibrant energy and cheerful warmth, to the magical transition when daylight slowly fades and night begins to reveal its secrets, this joint exhibition by R***i and Nickie Holford Art captures the full spectrum of light’s influence.

In the daytime, the world is alive with clarity and optimism, the sun casting everything in a golden glow and evoking feelings of joy and activity.

Yet, as day turns to night, the atmosphere shifts—dramatic lighting and shadow reveal an entirely different realm.

Like a stage set in a theatre, the night unveils new, mysterious scenes, where every flicker and shadow creates a sense of quiet intrigue and wonder, inviting the viewer to discover a deeper, more contemplative beauty

Nickie Holford Art is our duty artist again today! Open 11-4.

Nickie will setting up her joint exhibition, ‘Day and Night’, with R***i in our window. This new piece, ‘Black Tower’ is a local landmark, tucked away behind Carrow Hill and is part of the exhibition.

Together, the Black Tower with the surviving wall to the west and the lower tower to the east with the wall running down to it are the most important and most spectacular part of the defences to survive.

Open 10-5 today, on duty will be Nickie Holford Art.

Nickie’s latest piece ‘Glitch’, is the start of a triptych that’s in progress. She loves the excuse to crack out the neon paints!

Nickie will also be taking over our window for two weeks from Sunday, in a joint exhibition with R***i.
