Tanga Tanga (Albizia Ferruginea) from West Africa. Quite a shallow blank to start with so tried something a little different with the wall profile. I’ve specifically been working on these ‘mid brown’ woods recently as I have so much oak, beech etc so needed to build the range. Wild Mango (Cordyla Africana) from the African Tropics.
Really nice wood to work with showing golds through to orange and brown and unusual grain patterns.
