Have you ever felt like you’re carrying the weight of your entire workplace, only to have one quick conversation completely shift your perspective? 🌿

Sometimes, just getting those heavy thoughts out of your head and talking things through with someone who gets it is all it takes to lighten your spirit and bring back that feeling of optimism. You don’t have to figure everything out on your own, and you certainly don't have to carry it all by yourself.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, on-call, or burnt out, our upcoming 6-week group coaching programme, Find Your Balance, was created to give you that exact space. It’s a supportive, hands-on environment where you can step back, unpack the stress, and learn practical tools to protect your energy - completely guilt-free.

✨ Small group (max 10 people)
✨ 1 hour a week on Saturday mornings
✨ Founding Member Rate: £60 (Normally £250+)

We start on Saturday, 5th September. Registration closes on 1st September!

When was the last time you gave yourself permission to step out of your normal routine, slow down, and just be? 🌿

It’s so easy to get caught up in the constant churn of to-do lists, work demands, and looking after everyone else. But every now and then, taking a proper step back is the best thing we can do to reset our priorities and refill our own tanks.

I’ve been taking some time out down south visiting family, and it’s been such a grounding reminder of what happens when we slow down:
🦢A peaceful walk around The Wildlife Trusts Langford Lakes Langford Lakes to clear the head and watch the water.
☕Sitting in Mum’s garden with a hot cup of tea, enjoying the quiet sunshine.
🐇Playing with clay in my dad's cabin

Stepping away doesn't mean ignoring your responsibilities; it means protecting your energy so you can show up for your life with clarity instead of exhaustion.

Whether it’s a trip away, a walk in nature, or just 15 minutes sitting quietly in the garden with a cuppa, I hope you can carve out a little space for yourself this week to recharge.

(P.S. If you feel like stepping off the work treadmill is something you struggle to do without guilt, my 6-week group coaching program Find Your Balance starts September 5th. It’s a gentle, supportive space designed to help you set healthy boundaries and protect your time - feel free to drop me a message or check out the link in our bio).

If you’ve seen the posts about Find Your Balance over the last week, you might be asking yourself: “What actually is group coaching? Is it right for me?”

If you’ve never experienced coaching before - or the idea of sharing in a group makes you a little nervous - that is completely normal!

Here is what group coaching isn't:
❌ It isn't a lecture where you're talked at for an hour.
❌ It isn't a therapy session where you're forced to share personal secrets.

Here is what it actually is: Think of it as a small, supportive space (just 10 of us!) where we pause, reflect, and work through common workplace struggles together.

Over 6 weeks, my main goal is to empower you to feel confident in setting healthy boundaries. Together, we will:
💡Reflect on where your energy is currently leaking away.
💡Learn simple, practical steps to protect your time and say "no" politely and firmly.
💡Take real action so you can find genuine balance in your professional role - without feeling guilty about it.

You get to learn not just from the practical tools we share, but also from realising that other professionals in education, care, and charities are facing the exact same challenges as you. You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Our Founding Members cohort starts Saturday, September 5th (at a special £60 pilot rate).

Friday is finally here, and it's time to officially clock off! 🐸✨

Look at this little chap on the lily pad - that is the exact energy we are aiming for over the next two days.

When you work in education, care, or the charity sector, it's so easy to let work thoughts creep into your Saturday and Sunday. But real rest isn't just "not working" - it's giving yourself total permission to slow down, relax, and re-charge without the nagging feeling of guilt.

Your weekend goals:
🐸 Rest: Close the laptop and put the work phone away.
🍃 Relax: Do something purely for joy (or absolutely nothing at all!).
⚡ Re-charge: Protect your space so you start Monday with a full tank.

What is one thing you’re doing this weekend purely for you?

Thursday morning is here! We’re on the home stretch, and Friday is officially in sight. ☕✨

This week, we were looking forward to a moment of awe - watching the solar eclipse. But, I have to confess, I was not as in awe as expected… from my garden the dog was more excited about squeaking her rubber chicken!

It's a small reminder of how work can feel sometimes, too. When you’re operating at full speed, powering through to Friday can sometimes feel like a test of endurance - and if you can't see the results or find that moment of calm, the disappointment can linger.
But maintaining high productivity shouldn't mean arriving at the weekend completely drained, whether things went perfectly or not.

Keeping your momentum going through the end of the week comes down to setting clear boundaries - so you can stay focused during your working hours and truly switch off when you clock out, no matter what surprises (or disappointments) the week threw at you.

If you’re working in education, care, or the charity sector and want to finish your workweek feeling accomplished rather than exhausted, Find Your Balance is here to help. Our 6-week group coaching program starting September 5th gives you practical, hands-on tools to protect your focus, time, and energy.

When the workday ends, how do you actually signal to your brain that it’s time to stop thinking about work? 🎨

It’s so easy for the line between "on" and "off" to blur, especially when work notifications are constantly buzzing. That’s why creating a clear routine to switch off from devices can make such a difference.

It doesn't have to be complicated. It’s simply picking a time each evening to close your laptop, put your phone out of reach, and turn off work notifications.

Once the screens are put away, even just 15 minutes of uninterrupted downtime can completely reset your energy. For me, it’s dabbling with paints now and then. It’s not about creating a masterpiece, it’s just about doing something purely for the fun of it, with zero work pressure attached.

Whether it’s picking up a paintbrush, reading a chapter of a book, sitting in the garden, or listening to music, try giving yourself just 15 minutes tonight to do something that’s entirely for you.

What’s your favourite way to spend 15 minutes of downtime once the screens are off? 🎨📚☕

Are you holding emotional weight or tasks at work that actually belong to someone else? 🪶

When you work in education, care, or the charity sector, it is so easy to let yourself step in to solve every issue, take on extra tasks when someone else struggles, and carry the emotional burden of your whole team home with you.

Here’s the truth: Life feels lighter when you stop carrying what isn’t yours.

Rescuing others doesn't just drain your battery - it stops your colleagues and team members from developing their own problem-solving skills and taking ownership.

As part of our upcoming 6-week coaching programme, Find Your Balance, we work on:
🟡Identifying where your role ends and others' begins.
🟡Handing tasks and decisions back to your team with confidence.
🟡Supporting people effectively without absorbing their stress.

Our Founding Members cohort starts Saturday, September 5th (£60 pilot rate, limited to 10 spots).

Saying "yes" to every single request at work might feel like the helpful thing to do in the moment. But here’s the truth about the people-pleasing trap...

Every time you give away a "yes" you don't have capacity for, you're taking energy from your home life, your rest, and your own wellbeing. You end up giving your best self to work and leaving the leftover, exhausted version for your loved ones.

Stepping out of your people-pleasing era doesn't mean you stop caring.
It doesn't mean you aren't kind, and it doesn't mean you aren't trying.

It just means:
🐝Protecting healthy boundaries so you can do your job sustainably.
🐝Taking accountability for your own role without taking on everyone else's responsibilities.
🐝Realising that "no" to an unreasonable demand is a "yes" to your own energy.

If you’re working in education, care, or the charity sector and feel trapped in constant people-pleasing, you don't have to figure out how to reset those boundaries alone.

In our upcoming 6-week program, Find Your Balance, we practice practical ways to step back, communicate clearly, and protect your capacity - without the guilt.

👉 Ready to end your people-pleasing era? Registration for our September founding cohort is open (£60 pilot rate, strictly limited to 10 spots). Click the link to apply: https://forms.gle/3AKWRJpf4xZrmQ4g6

You’re in that beautiful space of happy relaxation when Sunday evening begins to overlap. Before you know it, you are sliding straight into the red circle: crushing apprehension.

How often does this happen to you? Is it worse because your work inbox is always buzzling, even on a weekend?

Here is a radical suggestion that can help you protect that relaxation space: take the work emails off your phone.

Unless you have an emergency-response role, being constantly connected means you never truly switch off and recharge. Disconnecting will be incredibly good for you.

If you are struggling to make this boundary a reality without guilt, we explore exactly how to do this in our upcoming 6-week program, Find Your Balance. We start September 5th.
