Saturday 13th June 2026 is Worldwide Knit in Public Day 🎉 .

Please join us for a craft and cuppa outside the shop on The Strand, Walmer from 1-4pm, rumour has it there might even be biscuits 🍪🍪. All yarn arts welcome, so dig out your knitting, crochet, weaving, your pom poms or tapestry and join us, the weather forecast looks promising ⛅⛅.

Lucy has had her 4 and 5mm knitting needles out again to whip up this gorgeous King Cole Homespun Aran number, using pattern number 6423 and 7 x 50g balls made up of 22.5% Fine Merino Superwash, 22.5% Alpaca, 30% acrylic, 22.5% polyamide and 2.5% viscose.

Crochet work shop!!
We are delighted to be hosting a crochet workshop. During this work shop you will learn the basics of crochet and learn how to do Granny Square. Granny squares are an amazing thing to learn to make you can turn it into a blanket, cushion, pillow or even clothing the possibilities are endless! This work shop will be held at Sholden Village Hall on Sunday 28st June 2026 from 10am till 2pm. The work shop is £45 per person and all materials are provided along with light refreshments. This is a pre book work shop To secure your place you can call to book and pay on 01304 274740 or you can pop in store.
