Having run a successful building company for many years we decided, due to customer demand, to start supplying and fitting wood burning stoves, we were then offered a showroom in Thaxted in Essex hence the name of Thaxted Stoves, we have now moved to a much larger showroom at wrights yard wimbish as the Thaxted showroom was not large enough to display all our products.
𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 - All of our technicians are experienced in the installation of all of the top stove brands such as Aga, Hwam, Wiking, Rais, Woodwarm, Hunter, Termatech ,Capital Fires, Chesneys, Yeoman and Stovax so can advise you as to which model would be best for you. Many of the brands we supply can be seen on our stoves page and in addition we can now offer more cost effective stoves, which have been selected with quality and performance in mind.
𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐞 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤 - One of our HETAS certified technicians will carry out a full survey to ascertain the best type of stove for your house, discuss the options available to you and answer any questions that you may have. As we at Thaxted Stoves come from a building background we are also able to perform any related work that may crop up as we are installing your stove such as;

• replacing chimney pots
• fixing damage to your chimney stack
• plastering / brickwork
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 - We make use of the latest drone, CCTV and thermal imaging technologies. In addition, we can supply cherry pickers and scaffolding, deal with local planning and arrange structural engineers - in short Thaxted Stoves can supply the complete service from survey, to installation through to ongoing maintenance.
