It's the first of the month and a full moon, the last full moon of the year! Which got me thinking of how fast the year is flying by, and how much life can change.
My full-circle moment happened when I realized I never changed careers, I just changed the scale of impact. I started in New York City as a makeup artist and product developer, obsessing over how color, texture, and formulation could change how someone felt when they looked in the mirror. I learned to build things from nothing, from concept to production, and I carried that with me in everything I did.
Years later, standing in my own home, raising a neurodivergent child and fostering rescue kittens, I understood the real assignment. Beauty was never the point, belonging was.
Interior design became the place where everything connected: my eye, my systems thinking, my advocacy. Today, I design homes the way I used to design products, intentionally, compassionately, and for real life. My full circle moment was realizing I wasn’t just building spaces… I was building safety, dignity, and ease for families who need it most, for people who don’t fit the “perfect” mold.
So thank you for helping build a little dream and thank you to my dream team. Everything happens for a reason
