When the client says:
“I know a guy who can do it for half the price.”

Me:
“Perfect. He’ll probably be the one you call when it needs to be fixed again.” 😂

Quality isn’t expensive.
Cheap work is.

One of the most common questions we hear is:

“Why is your quote so much higher?”

The answer is simple: many times we’re not quoting the same material.

Natural lime plasters and acrylic metallic finishes can create a similar visual effect, but they are completely different products.

Natural lime plaster is made from mineral ingredients, is breathable, and helps regulate moisture by allowing water v***r to pass through the wall.

Acrylic metallic finishes are synthetic resin-based decorative coatings. They have their place and can be a great choice for certain applications, but they are not the same material.

That’s why comparing prices without comparing the product can be misleading.

The next time you receive a quote that seems too good to be true, ask what’s actually in the bucket.

Ask for the technical data sheet.

Ask about the ingredients.

Because your walls are more than just a color—they’re part of the environment you live in every day.

Have you ever compared two quotes only to realize they weren’t the same finish?

Lime wash is everywhere right now — and yes, it looks beautiful.

But most people don’t talk about what happens after.

It’s more affordable, but comes with trade-offs:
less durability, harder touch-ups, and more maintenance over time.

Not good or bad — just different.

The mistake is choosing without understanding.

Have you used lime wash?
Did it meet your expectations?
