A corridor linking the w**e cellar to the party room becomes a gallery of its own, with a graphic George Condo portrait spanning a Venetian-plastered wall and a sculpture by William Kentridge opposite. Just beyond, the custom w**e cellar is encased in glass and bronze, making the collection part of the view.

When the art is this bold, everything around it has to hold its own.

Natural textures in the form of an antique wooden table and chairs from Lee Stanton, black marble lamps, a vintage zebra-skin rug, and a custom horsehair-fringed ottoman provide an organic contrast to the kaleidoscopic Charles Arnoldi painting. The antique wood floors are by Weaverbird, and the bust and antique
cachepot are from Berbere Imports.
