Just like that, summer is over. We love living in Seattle., especially during summer. So many pretty things to see and do!

Everyone act normal! 😂👀

The reality is, our job is to make sure every detail is done right, from the big design decisions to the little things that might otherwise get overlooked.

Sometimes that means asking the hard questions, catching mistakes, and being the person who says, “Wait… that’s not what we agreed on.” 😅

We know we might not always be everyone’s favorite person on the job site, but we’d rather be the bad guy now than let something slide that compromises the final result.

At the end of the day, we’re advocating for our clients, protecting the vision, and making sure every detail comes together the way it should. Because close enough just isn’t good enough.

All the details! Something you may not think much about but is super important: electrical outlet and switching colors. Lutron By Design and many other brands make customized colors that will look best on different color materials. We never want an outlet or electrical switch to stand out in a space!

We checked in on one of our Seattle projects yesterday, and we’re so impressed with this bathroom transformation!

The original bathroom had some major DIY issues, so we reworked the layout to make the space feel more open, functional, and intentional. By relocating the vanity and shower, we’ve completely changed how the room flows.

Sometimes, it’s not about having more space. It’s about making better use of the space you have!

We are working on the exterior of our house, which includes the yard! We had a massive patch of bamboo which is apparently the worst thing ever according to Nathan. He dug it out, and we got the pick new trees for the space. We made a stop at the famous Maltby Cafe on our way to Flower World . Home improvement can be fun, just add kids and giant cinnamon rolls 😂

It’s a door party! 🚪

A few weeks ago, new doors went in at , and it was pretty exciting to see this project coming together, one detail at a time! 🤍

When the bag inspires the room

My clients new Dior Official bag is stunning

PRO TIP: This is my own house! The seals on this window failed, and it’s a super expensive window ($15K+) to replace. I’m not sure what I’ll ultimately do with my kitchen when I remodel it, so I didn’t want to replace the window, especially at that price.

Instead, I had new glass put into the existing window, and now it looks brand new!

A lot of people think they have to replace the entire window to get rid of foggy glass, but that’s not always the case. Sometimes, replacing the glass is all you need!

I am SO thrilled to be able to see out of my window again! 😂
