🛵 If you like to stalk Natalie Bird as much as we do, you’ll know that she has released a lovely new quilt pattern and of course, we had to get it.

🎠 Inspired by a recent trip to Europe, Out & About celebrates getting “out and about”, seeing the world, or in your own neighbourhood or backyard. There is plenty of hand stitching, including stitchery, appliqué, English Paper Piecing and simple pieced blocks.

🪏In this pattern, the quilt is broken down into 12 ‘blocks’, which makes it more manageable, sewing the quilt in smaller sections.

🐱 Full size line artwork included. Large format (A4) pattern.

🐕 Finished size of quilt is 62″ x 66″.

🐰A sweet little carry-anything, zippered pouch.

🐰Featuring a cute stitchery design on the front, English Paper Pieced hexagons on the back in pretty florals.

*Stitchery design comes screen-printed on fabric, ready to stitch, included with the pattern. The paper printed design is also provided, so you can trace onto fabric and stitch again.

🩷🩷Last week we had quite the ‘bevy’ of quilts in for our layering-up service. To start, we had Claire’s lovely Tilda ‘Something Blue’ quilt. It just shows how effective half square triangles can be (especially when using gorgeous fabrics!). A great use of her fat quarter bundle and she did this in record time!

💙💙 We layered it up by spray basting as she will be machine quilting this beauty. Claire picked our 60” wide pink cotton for the backing which was a great choice.
