The palm tree has been on European dining tables since the 18th century. It came back from the Grand Tour in someone’s sketchbook and has never been stronger.
The Arabella plates are hand-painted in Portugal. The tablecloth block-printed by hand in Jaipur. Two different countries, two different crafts, one table that looks like it’s been gathered over a lifetime.

The palm tree has been on European dining tables since the 18th century. It arrived with the Grand Tour- young men coming back from Egypt and the Levant with sketchbooks full of fronds and a conviction that their dining rooms needed to reflect what they’d seen.

The tablecloth is block-printed by hand in Jaipur. The same technique the city’s artisans have used for centuries- carved wood block, pressed into fabric, repeated by eye. No two are identical. That slight irregularity in the repeat is not a flaw. It’s the artisan’s hand.
The Arabella plates are hand-painted in Portugal. Each frond placed individually, each piece its own work of art.
