Our biggest design ick? The ‘Big Light’.

Overhead lighting has a tendency to make a room feel unfinished, hurried, and let’s face it, not a good look. And our tastemaker, Annabel Grimshaw , agrees.

If you have a table lamp here, a standing lamp there, suddenly, the room starts to feel much more comfortable. “You’ve got to have all those layers of lighting to really make a space feel cosy”. Annabel explains.

Our favourite colour this autumn? Well, it’s sugar plum fairy, of course!

What we love about this colour is that it unexpectedly pairs so well with such a wide range of existing colour palettes, updating even the most lived-in tones. Whether you’re still a millennial pink girl or you loved the butter yellow trend, plum makes them feel fresh and contemporary again.
