WD partnered with longtime client, the County of Riverside, to revitalize the Edward-Dean Museum & Gardens, enhancing this distinctive Cherry Valley property while preserving the character that makes it such a special community destination.

From the renovation of the Kay C. Building to improved gardens, gathering areas, circulation, and accessibility throughout the site, the updates create a more welcoming setting for weddings, celebrations, educational programs, and community events.

After 30+ years of working together, we’re proud to continue supporting the County in bringing new life to the places that connect and serve its communities!

“Student housing is no longer just a facilities conversation. It’s a student success conversation.”

That message came through loud and clear at the 2026 Student & Workforce Housing Development Conference. With 60% of California community college students experiencing housing insecurity and only 12 of 116 CCC campuses historically offering housing, the urgency around affordability, wellness, and long-term operational sustainability has never been greater.

One of the highlights was seeing our Cerritos College 396-bed student housing project recognized as part of the statewide housing pipeline discussion. Conversations throughout the conference reinforced the importance of early collaboration, modular innovation, and aligning housing strategies with real student needs.

Grateful for the opportunity to connect with leaders across higher education, development, construction, and policy who are actively shaping the future of student and workforce housing in California.

It's always a great time supporting the San Marino Schools Foundation at their annual donor recognition event! This year’s Donor Derby theme brought plenty of energy, celebration, and community spirit. 🏇

We’re proud to support San Marino Unified School District both through our ongoing projects and through organizations like the SMSF that help enrich opportunities for students across the district. Grateful for the continued partnership and a fun evening spent with district leadership and supporters!
