What a blast it was to be lead on a tour of some of our Auckland suppliers and showrooms by Zane Tate - the master of organisation and time management!
Anna and I had a blast spending time with old friends, new friends and people we spend a lot of time communicating with from afar.
We look forward to weaving some of our fabulous finds into our current and upcoming projects!

Hey! We’ve never entered a competition before so we thought we’d throw caution to the wind and submit both of our Nicholson bathrooms to the Trendz International Design Awards.
And look! We received highly commended for not one but both of them along with our great friend Amelia Minty - Yah!
We love great spatial planning and with the help of our incredible team of consultants, trades and suppliers we can pretty much do anything. Both of these bathrooms required careful consideration and bear no resemblance to their originals - we’re as delighted as our lovely clients with the results.

Dropped in to see these recently completed bathrooms for a very special client today - we’ve been working together for more than 10 years!
Against these paired back gentle backdrops we’ve dressed these spaces with confidence using towels, art and accessories. Hand crafted lighting by the very clever deborah sweeney ceramics and my favourite mirror maker Joska just make it all the more thoughtful and beautiful. NZ made just like the fabulous oil painting by Clare Matthews above the bath!

I love this view of our Northland kitchen and dining renovation where we transformed a pretty dark and seriously small kitchen space (& putting green…IYKYK) into this wonderful open, light filled, warm and inviting environment - a space for lingering and entertaining.
I’m lucky enough to be back in this home in phase 2 of the renovations and I couldn’t be happier to be here building on what we started.

Fell off the gram again…

Our recently completed Northland kitchen is giving all sorts of warm, ‘I want to bake cookies because I have the BEST larder’ vibes…
I loved working on this significant alteration with these wonderful clients. Kitchen renovations are huge - disruptive and really tiring, but they’re entirely worth it when the new space is shaped specifically for you and your lifestyle. This one is now absolutely the heart of the home.

Finding just the right pendants for No.14: The cavernous living area, open to the gallery above called for both a generous scale and an airiness.
These stunning fittings bring the right amount of size & industrial edge to the space while feeling light and transparent.
Always an interesting planning moment positioning a grouping at the apex of a ceiling!
Props to and builders Custom Homes, for their good humour and patience as we established heights - us running up and down the stairs, critiquing from the inside and the garden to ensure they were just so!
