Happy Winter Solstice, friends. A moment between last year and this year when the Sun is born. The Sun will visit us a little bit longer each day for the next 6 months, bringing root growth deep into the earth so that we can flourish and fruit well into the coming year.

In this liminal space, may we pause and light a candle in reverence for what has been and face boldly what is to come in all the gardens of life to whom we tend. What brought you joy and gratitude this past year? What is subtly growing beneath the soil so that it may sprout and bloom on the horizon?

Happy Cold Moon 🌕 friends! A time to reflect on the year, to gather with family and friends for fun and games, and to listen to stories that they tell. We are also reflecting on our long growing season, what worked well in our gardens, what did not, and why.

This is the perfect time to plan for cold sewing seeds. Some of our clients will cold sew flowers for their perennial flower gardens and some of our clients will be preparing to frost sew new prairie gardens in the spring. Will you be cold sewing seeds this year?
